Who Is Behind Our Division?

Peace be unto reader. Today I would like to get more into why there is so much division between us Black Americans within ourselves and other Blacks across the globe and who or what is behind it.

How many of us are engrossed in our everyday routines? How many of us have our minds preoccupied in our everyday struggle? For the most part, does it seems like you are constantly struggling just for survival? How I see it, we are all part of this perpetual struggle, but yet, for the most part we choose to struggle independently. Figuring, that we must first establish ourselves from our own personal struggles before we can begin to assist anyone else with their struggle. Then, some of us that have been able to overcome the struggle look down their noses at those who has not been able to vanquish their struggle. We, as a people, must learn to help one another whenever and however possible that is within our means. Instead of belittling and being discouraging of each other, we must begin doing just the opposite, and begin uplifting and encouraging each one another. Unity is what I believe will begin the regression of black-on-black hatred, disloyalty, crime, etc. It is unfortunate for us that our ancestors were taught, or more so, mentally forced to develop antipathy for each other within our own race, based on skin color. I do not want to get into a whole history lesson here, so if you are not aware of the tactics used to create this type of division, I ask that you please read the address by Willie Lynch titled "Making of a Slave". I have a web address in a previous blog post. (April 22, 2013/What Can We Do to Begin Unifying)

But, I believe we can begin to reverse this psychological damage starting will existing generations. The division between us was started generations ago, so it will not be an overnight change, but in order to contrive this change we must first start. A lot of us talk about how we want and need change, but change cannot and will not come until we start making changes. Unity is our weapon of mass destruction against the oppressor. This [unity] we must establish, for there is a strong reason behind them instilling in us division, and doing everything in their powers to neutralize, organizations and people alike. who seemed and proved capable to unite large masses of Black Americans.

Why have so many people, including those in governmental agencies, fought so hard to keep division and antagonism between us? Why have so many people been killed, or more correctly put, murdered for trying to do nothing more than to unify Black America? Why did the government have counter-intelligence programs set up to disrupt, misdirect, discredit, and otherwise neutralize organizations designed to unite Black America? Why didn't they want the rise of a Messiah? This isn't just mere rhetoric, but actual facts. To this day, there is no evidence that these type of programs, like CoIntelPro, ended; even though the governmental agencies that were in charge of, who created, who participated in these type of programs said they would end them. However, there are plenty of documentation of their program tactics, goals, their actions (most of them illegal) that can be obtained. (vault.fbi.gov)

As yourselves the hard questions and you will get the hard truths. The hard truth of the matter is that in America they consider Black unity a rebellion in this country. Land of the free is what they say, but yet the wealth of this country came from the establishment of enslavement. What I have learned is that Revolution cannot come about through the ideology or actions of an organization of people, but through the manifestation of ideology and actions of the people...UNITY. Meaning, you cannot have Revolution without unity of the oppressed against the oppressor. The oppressor knows this, thus their reasons for keeping division amongst the oppressed.

As usual, I thank you for taking time to read this and I hope that we, as a people, can espouse unity with ourselves. As I leave, I want to leave you, the reader(s), with words of peace. So I say to you all, As-salamu-alaykumu!
